- Editor’s Note: The Gen 2 is not available on Amazon or other channels at the time of publishing. The original O5 Plus is available for the similar pricing plus tax on Amazon.com here, but does not include USB-C connection, power bank, and upgraded sound quality.
So what makes Mifo true wireless earbuds the best all around earphones?
The best earbuds for active lifestyles, period. The rose gold Mifo O5 come with a bevy of features that improve the tasks of the day immensely, beginning with their form factor. Weighing in at just a few grams each, the O5 earbuds feel supremely comfortable, and include 7 silicon ear tip shapes and sizes for that perfect fit. Further, once in it’s nearly impossible to get them to fall out. Readers may remember propensity to fall out was a major problem that prevented us from recommending Apple’s Airpods in our last wireless review.
Absurd battery life with power bank feature. The O5 Plus earbuds themselves will play continuously for 7+ hours, a feat we tested over several days. Not only that, but the included USB-C charging case offers an additional 100 hours of play time. No, that is not a typo. We were able to use the earbuds without charging the case for an entire week before it gave out. Not only that, but the case allows you to plug a smartphone in to charge your devices on the go. In our test, we were able to charge an iPhone 11 Pro Max from 0 to 100%. That’s stunning, and makes us wonder why earbuds from other brands costing 3-4 times more have just a third of the battery life.
Excellent sound with passive noise canceling. The rose gold Mifo O5 packs some of the best bass in any true wireless earbuds we have tested. That’s particularly helpful if you prefer energetic tracks when pushing yourself to the limit. That said, the tight seal ensures sound does not leak, meaning others around you will not overhear your music.
UK-based customer support. We have been continuously disappointed with true wireless earbuds in the past, even from tech giants like Samsung. Part of that disappointment comes with poor or absent customer service. We tested Mifo on several occasions with questions and every time received proper replies within an hour. That demonstrates commitment to the UK market and contributes greatly to our award of Editor’s Pick.

Urbanista gets good marks for color, less so for quality
Rose gold indeed. The hue, while not true metal, is pleasing to the eye. And the form factor itself is also quite nice assuming you don’t mind the dangly bits as seen in Apple’s Airpods. So, for the purposes of this article, Urbanista gets our approval on color.
But build quality is lacking. We wish Urbanista would have gone with a less cheap feeling plastic for the Stockholm wireless earbuds. Part of the beauty of rose gold is the look of metal, and these do miss the mark in that regard. Perhaps we were spoiled by the Mifo O5, which absolutely nails the Apple rose gold look and feel by using real metals.
Sound is decent, but not for the price. We review quite a few earbuds, and while Urbanista has brought adequate sound quality to the table, there is significant distortion on high and low ranges, and a distinct lack of bass. For the money we expect more.

Beats maintains a quality brand, when it’s in stock…
This may be where we arrived at a low point in our roundup. Due to the simple fact that there were no other rose gold earbuds of quality to list, we decided to add in Beats Solo rose gold wireless headphones.
While not earbuds, Beats offers a quality product that produces excellent, upbeat sound while managing to look good too. They certainly qualify for our rose gold roundup, even if it’s three of three.
Should you feel the need to splurge on rose gold, Beats is a safe insurance policy against buyer’s remorse.
