New York & Company Unveils New Blog

We love when fashion brands find new ways to market themselves, whether it’s through interesting Instagram content, a new twist on the traditional blog or a collaborative effort with fashion bloggers. Now, New York & Company is beginning to wade deeper into the digital world with a fresh, new blog.

The brand has been a mainstay for women looking to outfit their professional wardrobes. Back in March, the brand began catering more to its web-based clientele by introducing a digital catalog in addition to its print version. Now, New York & Company is expanding its web presence to the blogosphere and some important social media outlets.

Although it’s still new on the scene and definitely has room to grow, the City Social blog is already doing several things well for NY&C. Highlights include entries focusing on seasonal trends, new collections and must-have lists from respected fashionistas. A recent post puts special emphasis on the brand’s pink line, designed to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research.

But the blog doesn’t end there. Also highlighted are widgets for the brand’s various social accounts, including Instagram shots, selected tweets and a link to their Google+ business page.

The content is engaging and shareable, but it’ll be interesting to see how NY&C decides to keep the space interesting and engaging for fans and customers.
