Community managers, take note. New updates to Facebook’s mobile Pages Manager app now allow you to schedule and promote from your phone or tablet.
The Pages Manager app has been available since May, and although its release excited many, it lacked in several areas. With Tuesday’s update, however, managers will find themselves with greater control while on the go.
This most recent update includes the ability to schedule future posts and the ability to promote a specific post. The only requirement is that the user must have created an ad or a promoted post on their computer prior to trying out this feature on their mobile device.
The update for the iPad also now allows users to view stories in two columns, giving it more of the desktop Timeline feel.
