Best Landing Page Designs: Sittercity

Sittercity lands itself in the ranks of Groupon, Grubhub and Threadless as one of the better known startups to emerge from the Windy City. Started in 2001, the service uses “proprietary match technology” to match families with babysitters, nannies, tutors, pet sitters, housekeepers and senior care providers.

Here’s why Chicago’s own Sittercity made our list of Best Landing Page Designs:

  • Straight to the signup.  Parents are busy people. They don’t have time to dig through a website for the right place to sign up, which is why we like that Sittercity placed the form for parents to sign up right on the homepage. And with just eight dialog boxes, the process is fast and easy.
  • Starting points for all parties.  Whether you’re a parent, sitter or a business looking to get started with the service, there’s an obvious starting point for you on Sittercity’s landing page.
  • Social savviness.  60,000 Facebook likes is no small feat , which is why it’s wise for the service to show off this stat right on their homepage.
