Next time you give a gift, wouldn’t it be nice to support a startup at the same time?
That’s exactly what iOS app Just Because does. Pay just $1 to share cool startup products with your friends, whether it’s $20 in Uber credit or a month-long membership to Cheeky Chicago. It’s a win-win-win situation: your friend gets a gift, you look cool for discovering a fun new product, and the startup gets a personal referral that could turn in to a lifelong customer.
The app requires a Facebook login to find gift recipients, as well as your credit card information to pay the $1 fee. You can also attach goofy, pre-written messages to gifts like, “Just because you need a ride to your G6.”
