This week’s featured app is the oft-discussed Evernote, a tool that “turns the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad into an extension of your brain, helping you remember anything and everything that happens in your life.” You can auto-sync notes, photos, and recordings to your computer so that you have them when you need them. The app can also be used to create different types of documents and allows you to organize them, access them easily, sync them to your computer automatically and obtain them just as quickly.
Revolutionary? Yep.
Jotting down notes on a crumpled up napkin is reliable, until you realize that the note you need is in the pocket of yesterday’s blue jeans. Evernote solves that problem by automatically syncing your devices with all of the random tasks, thoughts and epiphanies that you jot down on your phone, iPad or desktop so that you have them where you need them and when you need them.
We’re waiting for a waterproof iPhone so we can use Evernote in the shower.
How do you use Evernote to organize your thoughts?
