Today is the fourth annual Community Manager Appreciation Day, a nod to those that organize, manage and hype social channels for brands. As web strategist Jeremiah Owyang puts it, “while no gifts are required, the purpose is to give a genuine thank to the never ending, often thankless job of supporting customers and balancing internal stakeholders, a tough balance the whole world is watching.”
We’ve put together a list of five ways to celebrate. Have resources or celebrations to add? Share them in the comments section below.
1. Stop by the Community Manager Appreciation Day Live Hangout
My Community Manager and HootSuite have partnered up to host a worldwide, 12 hour Community Manager Appreciation Day Google Plus Hangout. Check out the agenda here, or jump right in over here.
2. Brush up on industry stats with The 2013 Community Manager Report
