When it comes to fashion retail apps, it seems like they usually fall into one of two categories. Either they are visually-oriented and focus purely on photos of collections without giving users an opportunity to purchase anything, or they are retail-oriented without providing many photos. Now, the Fashion Kaleidoscope app is combining the visual and retail worlds to give users a new shopping experience, and teach an new group of up and comers how to be a fashion influencer.
Upon opening, the user is presented with a continuously updating list of photos showing a unique, cool or fun ensembles. Once a look catches your eye, a simple tap redirects you to a larger photo where you can then shop the look, save it or share it via social sites like Pinterest or Facebook.
When you tap on one part of the look, you’re then redirected to a selection of similar articles of clothing running a broad range of retailers and price points. If you decide to buy, another tap redirects you to the retailer’s site for a quick and easy purchase process.
The variety of looks and retailers represented makes this app a must-have for fashionistas everywhere.
Fashion Kaleidoscope is currently available for free for iOS and Android devices.
